Wizkid and Asake release joint EP *Real Vol. 1* featuring four tracks, including hit single *Jogodo*, marking another milestone in their partnership

Afrobeats superstars Wizkid and Asake have released their highly anticipated joint EP, Real Vol. 1, featuring four tracks: Turbulence, Jogodo, Iskolodo, and Alaye.

The EP follows the success of the lead single, Jogodo, which dropped on January 16 and quickly amassed massive streaming numbers across digital platforms.

Announcing the EP on Instagram, the duo shared a promotional video, captioned: “Real EP Vol. 1 ti jade bayi,” signalling the arrival of their latest musical project.

This collaboration continues the artists’ successful partnership, which previously produced hits such as MMS and Bad Girl.

Both Wizkid and Asake have had remarkable individual runs in 2025, with Wizkid’s album Morayo becoming the most streamed on Apple Music Nigeria, while Asake’s single Why Love topped national streaming charts.
