The donation was disclosed in a statement personally signed by Salam and obtained in Osogbo on Wednesday.

According to the lawmaker, the vehicles were provided to campaign coordinators across Ede Federal Constituency to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and voter engagement during the election campaign.

Speaking during the official launch of the Accord Party campaign in Ede, Salam, who also chairs the Media and Publicity Committee of the Imole Campaign Council, said the buses and motorcycles would be distributed among coordinators drawn from the 42 wards within the constituency.

He explained that the intervention was aimed at improving campaign logistics and enhancing door-to-door mobilisation efforts ahead of the governorship poll.

Salam urged beneficiaries to use the vehicles responsibly while working to secure maximum support for Adeleke at the grassroots level.

He also expressed confidence that the governor would emerge victorious in the election.

Reacting to the development, Mrs Modupeola Adeleke-Sanni, elder sister to the governor, commended the initiative and advised recipients to prioritise safety during campaign activities.

The Director-General of the Imole Campaign Council and Senate Minority Leader, Lere Oyewumi, described the donation as a strong demonstration of Salam’s commitment to grassroots politics and party development.

Also speaking, Prof. Wale Oladipupo, Chairman of the Imole Campaign Council, charged members of the constituency campaign committee to intensify mobilisation efforts ahead of the election.

Campaign activities for the Osun governorship election officially began on March 11, with several political parties already engaging voters across the state.
